Umhoefer said the organization was pleased to partner

NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES
CheeseCon is also a powerful networking event, providing
participants the chance to meet with industry peers, suppliers
and potential business partners.
The conference kicks off with the Tetra Pak Welcome
Reception on April 15, followed by the Young Professionals
Reception for attendees under 40. This separately ticketed
event will include an evening of networking and refreshments
in the heart of downtown Madison for young professionals in
the dairy processing industry.
On April 16, the Novonesis Reception & Championship
Cheese Auction will bring attendees together to celebrate
gold medalists from the United States Championship Cheese
Contest, complete with bidding to take winning cheeses
home. The reception closes out the first full day at CheeseCon
and offers a chance to support WCMA contests, scholarships,
training programs and strategic support of industry partners
like CDR.
Eleven dairy leaders will be recognized for their
outstanding contributions to the dairy processing industry
during the WCMA Recognition Breakfast on April 17. This
event, sponsored by dsm-firmenich, will honor individuals
whose contributions have left a lasting impact on the dairy
processing industry.
The 2025 honorees span six distinct award categories,
each recognizing exceptional achievements in various
aspects of the dairy sector. From leadership and innovation
to technical excellence and mentorship, these individuals
have shaped the industry through their dedication and
groundbreaking work.
CheeseCon closes out with its United States Champions
Awards Banquet, when dairy professionals from around the
nation honor the outstanding achievements of the 2025 United
States Championship Cheese Contest winners. This elegant
gala is a ticketed event and must be purchased separately to
attend.
