Evolving industry
CheeseCon aims to address the biggest concerns for dairy processors.

T
he Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) and
Center for Dairy Research (CDR) are ready to welcome
the dairy industry to their biennial CheeseCon event.
Set to take place from April 15-17 at Alliant Energy Center
in Madison, Wis., CheeseCon will highlight innovation and
the growth of the dairy industry. Attracting more than 2,500
industry leaders, processors, artisans and suppliers, the event
will feature cutting-edge technology, educational sessions and
an array of opportunities for networking and collaboration
within the world of cheese.
A HUB FOR INNOVATION
The event offers access to information on the latest in
equipment and dairy technology, as well as a wealth of
knowledge about sustainable practices, food safety and new
trends in cheesemaking. The conference includes one day of
tabletop exhibits, with close to 400 booths.
CheeseCon is an opportunity to showcase the best in
cheesemaking, highlight technological advances and spark
important conversations about the future of the industry.

focus, " said John Umhoefer, executive director at WCMA.
SESSIONS AND EXPERT PANELS
One of the highlights of CheeseCon is its diverse array of
educational sessions, which will cover everything from
food safety to advancements in cheesemaking technology.
With the increasing demand for sustainable practices in the
food industry, several of the seminars will also address how
cheesemakers can adopt environmentally friendly approaches
without sacrificing quality.
These educational sessions will be led by industry experts,
seasoned professionals and university researchers, making
it an ideal event for anyone interested in learning about the
latest trends and technologies in cheesemaking.
The knowledge sharing tailored for the dairy
processing industry will begin with an opening keynote
panel titled, " Mastering Change Management in Dairy's
Evolving Environment. "
