Bringing the
industry together
CheeseExpo to offer engaging seminars, valuable
networking opportunities and a sold-out exhibit floor.

rganizers from the Wisconsin Cheese
Makers Association (WCMA) and
the Center for Dairy Research
(CDR) expect more than 4,000 dairy industry
professionals to attend this year's CheeseExpo
in Milwaukee.
The biennial event for cheese, butter and
whey processors is scheduled for April 16-18, with
organizers expecting more than 4,000 industry
professionals to attend between dairy processors
and supplier partners.
The tradeshow's slate of educational seminars
and networking events also will be bolstered by
more than 300 exhibitors on the show floor at Baird
Center, with innovations in technology, equipment
and services to be highlighted, with valuable
examples of automation, ingredients, software and
solutions available around every corner.
" CheeseExpo reaches beyond the production
floor, offering expert insights, cutting edge
technology and ample opportunities to
connect with friends and colleagues, " said
John Umhoefer, executive director, WCMA.
" We're thrilled to once again bring the global
dairy processing industry together to learn,

THE LINEUP
The 2024 CheeseExpo will include a diverse array
of seminars, diving into the topics that matter most
to the industry. The schedule of events includes
a lineup that will feature speakers on a range of
topics, including sustainability, dairy and human
health research, policy leadership and the 2024
election, cheese functionality and performance,
whey permeate utilization, and building a
workforce on an ESG foundation.
" One of the great things about this show
is that we really get a broad array of different
professionals coming in - some just for the
networking events and the exhibits others for
the full slot of seminars, " said Grace Atherton,
communications director for WCMA shared.
" It's everyone from CEOs and VPs and company
owners, the people who are really making
those those top line business decisions for the
company, to plant managers and supervisors. The
people who are on the floor on a day-to-day basis
actually making the product and managing the
